SRC invites member companies to participate in 2026 CareerConnections - 2026 Virtual Fall Event, a two-day virtual event designed to connect industry professionals with emerging technical talent from SRC's research community.

CareerConnections provides an opportunity to engage with SRC scholars, learn about cutting-edge research, increase your organization’s visibility, and build connections with future interns, researchers, and full-time hires.

Event Overview

Day 1: Scholar Showcase

Thursday, November 12, 2026
2:00–5:00 PM ET | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM PT

Selected SRC scholars will present their research during structured showcase sessions organized around industry-relevant technical tracks.

Participating companies are strongly encouraged to attend Day 1 to:

  • Observe student research presentations
  • Explore emerging research topics
  • Identify students of interest
  • Engage directly with scholars during showcase sessions

Students participating in the showcase are selected through a PI nomination process and represent a curated group of SRC-affiliated talent.

Day 2: CareerConnections Career Booths

Friday, November 13, 2026
2:00–4:00 PM ET | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM PT

Day 2 features a virtual career fair experience where participating companies host career booths and engage directly with SRC scholars.

Companies can:

  • Share information about their organization and culture
  • Promote internships, co-op programs, and full-time opportunities
  • Discuss technical career paths
  • Answer student questions
  • Build relationships with potential future hires

Students participating in CareerConnections may be aligned with research areas such as:

  • Advanced Packaging, Thermal, and Power Delivery
  • Analog & Mixed-Signal Technology & Design
  • Connectivity, Sensing & I/O
  • Materials/Interfaces, Devices, & Interconnects
  • Memory-Centric Systems + Energy-Efficient Compute

Recommended Participation

✅ Attend Day 1 to observe student research presentations and identify emerging talent.

✅ Participate in Day 2 to connect directly with scholars and discuss career opportunities.

Together, the two-day experience provides a unique opportunity to see students' technical work, interact with them professionally, and build relationships that can extend beyond CareerConnections.
